Have you ever heard this beautiful tune sung by Michael W. Smith that goes like this:

It is a great song with an even better message. As I began my journey with Jesus, my Big Brother, I was having experiences like crazy! Some of those experiences I cannot even describe and others I would love to tell you in great detail. So like the young woman I am designed to be I started researching and asking "What is all of this that is happening to me?" And little did I know others who had gone before me have experienced similar situations. And after reading their stories and listening to their testimonies I did not feel alone. In fact, I felt "common." Not necessarily normal," but definitely around the common-folk who too have taken the narrow path to broaden their understandings of Elohim.
And because God loves us so much He pressed on my heart a prayer that I have been praying for some time now and I want to share it with you. It comes from a great and dear friend Paul. He simply and profoundly stated. "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come." Ephesians 1:17-21
So I wanted to encourage you TODAY and help you continue on your journey with a simple, yet profound prayer that will help you see in the same way Jesus sees.
Pray this prayer with me: Here I am, Lord. I ask you, my glorious Father, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know You better. In your Name Jesus, I pray that the eyes of my heart may be enlightened in order that I may know the hope to which You have called me. And Your incomparably great power for me who believes. I want to see what you see. Give my heart sight to see what You see. Amen
