Your mind is like a suitcase, dear! It can carry many things and it has tons of compartments for many different uses and you can drag it with you wherever you go, from one destination to the next. Or you can simply take time and have God unpack your mind from ALL your thoughts and simply place them in an organized fashion so you can feel less weight, stress, confusion and worry. _____________________________________
When the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy what makes him come to attack the mind? Why does Scripture say to renew your mind? Your mind likes to wander off into the unknown and the possibilities.
SO, if the enemy knows that your mind likes to wander, he is going to attack those who have wandered away from the LORD. Why would the enemy attack a large group, if he should attack one person at a time? He wouldn't, that's why.
Lie --> I am alone in my own thoughts.
TRUTH --> There is strength in numbers (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
I recommend you be still. Ge alone in a room, closet, somewhere with very little distractions and start letting your thoughts, dreams, hope and failures go wander off into the abyss and then sit there silently before the LORD and wait for Him to speak.
TRUST ME- It works!
It may take just a couple of moments or it may take many hours, but the more you give to God the more empty you’ll be and from there He can fill you up! It’s not hard, but it will be if you resist.
